Gynecology

Dr. med. Annett Rosahl and Catherina Stolz lead our center’s General Gynecology department. Both also have extensive training in urogynecological diagnostics and treatments. During general gynecology appointments, these specialists focus on:

• Prenatal care and counseling (general care, ultrasounds, medical advice), postnatal period and follow-up examinations as well as preventative pelvic floor care for pregnant women
• Preventive gynecological cancer examinations
• Contraceptive options
• Diagnostics and treatment of gynecological disorders including abnormal bleeding, menopausal complaints, myomas, endometriosis; polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCO syndrome), breast disease
• Reproductive medicine (consultation and initial diagnosis)
• Osteoporosis
• Cancer monitoring, medical and follow-up care
• Specialized consultations for young girls (Dr. med. A. Rosahl)
• Phytotherapy
• Basic psychosomatic obstetrics/gynecology health care
• Vaccines (to start Summer 2012/ Dr. med. A. Rosahl)

As part of the Pelvic Floor Center network, both specialists follow our interdisciplinary approach in their professional and scientifically grounded direction and interlinking of the Gynecology department with our other related departments.
